The Celtic Thread offers a unique selection of quality Celtic clothes, crafts and items inspired by the tradition and spirit of our native land – the best of Celtic designs from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.

I grew up in Ireland and have always loved the rugged western coastlines, the subtly changing colours of the seasons and the vibrancy of nature. The power of the land is, I feel, expressed in the clothing and fabrics. These products inspire me – and I hope you too will be taken with what we sell. – Moya Pringle.

We honour the tradition of quality design and craftsmanship when selecting all our products. Beautiful woven fabrics, natural yarns and vibrant colours find expression both in contemporary and traditional designs. We also sell books, cards and CDs reflecting the flavour and lilt of the Celtic soul.

Come visit our shop in Glastonbury (near the Abbey entrance). We run a worldwide mail order service, though without a catalogue or online ordering. If you cannot come to the shop personally, get in touch and we'll answer questions and personally help you with your selection. Our products are unique, personally-chosen and constantly changing.
